Robert J. Masone, MD
Dr. Masone was born and raised in New York City where his father served the city as a NYC Fireman for 23 years. He graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiiva University in NYC and went on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He now practices exclusively in Pain Management in Lancaster, OH which has been his home for over 21 years. He has multiple Board certifications, including certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and in the sub-specialty of Pain Management. His special interests include spine pain and in particular patients who continue to have pain after multiple back surgeries. He is an instructor for the International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS) and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP). He also serves as the President and Executive Director of the Ohio Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (OSIPP). His research interests and recent medical publications include topics such as how spinal cord stimulation helps control back and radiating leg pain from injured spinal nerves.
